Ed eccoci arrivati al Meeting più “adrenalinico” dell’anno…..Lo SMART TIME ATTACK, giunto quest’anno alla 9° edizione che ci ha permesso di scorazzare con le nostre Smartine all’interno del bellissimo tracciato dell’Autodromo della Valle dei Templi a Racalmuto!!!!
Gli equipaggi intervenuti dalle provincie di Palermo, Catania, Siracusa, Ragusa e Agrigento, si son divertiti a far scalpitare i cavalli delle proprie Smartine nel bellissimo circuito della Valle dei Templi.
Sabato pomeriggio dopo la sistemazione del box a nostra disposizione abbiamo effettuato una ricognizione del tracciato riservata soprattutto ai neofiti che per la prima volta si sarebbero cimentati in pista quindi cena conviviale a Racalmuto all’interno del ristorante “LO ZENZERO”
Domenica mattina il via alle 3 manche cronometrate in pista, che sono state effettuate con ottimi tempi da tutti gli equipaggi intervenuti, sia veterani che alla prima esperienza in circuito.
Quindi premiazione per tutti gli equipaggi classificati in questa 9° edizione curata come sempre dal nostro carissimo Amico Michelangelo ROMANO, che da ben 9 anni ci segue passo passo per ciò che attiene all’organizzazione del nostro evento all’interno dell’Autodromo e che ringraziamo calorosamente per la grande disponibilità e cortesia che lo ha sempre contraddistinto sin dai nostri primi contatti nove anni fa.
Ultimata la premiazione, ci siamo poi diretti a San leone, dove eravamo attesi per il pranzo nel nostro ristorante preferito “Il Canale” dove gli “Amici” Elio ed Angelo Sollano ci hanno rifocillato con uno squisito menù a base di pesce della loro ottima cucina.
Ed anche questa Meeting è giunto al termine…… e ci diamo appuntamento al 20 e 21 Dicembre, per l’ultimo Meeting dell’anno, il “PRANZO DI NATALE”…..che ci porterà a visitare le bellezze di Zafferana Etnea, in provincia di Catania.
And here we are, arrived at the most ‘adrenaline-fueled’ Meeting of the year….. The SMART TIME ATTACK, which this year has reached its 9th edition, allowed us to race around with our Smart cars inside the beautiful track of the Autodromo della Valle dei Templi in Racalmuto!!!!
The crews who came from the provinces of Palermo, Catania, Siracusa, Ragusa, and Agrigento had fun making the engines of their Smart cars roar on the beautiful circuit of the Valle dei Templi.
Saturday afternoon, after setting up the box provided to us, we did a reconnaissance of the track reserved mainly for the newcomers who would be tackling the track for the first time, followed by a convivial dinner in Racalmuto at the restaurant ‘LO ZENZERO’.
Sunday morning, the start of the 3 timed runs on the track, which were completed with excellent times by all the participating crews, both veterans and those on their first circuit experience.
Then, the awards ceremony for all the classified crews in this 9th edition, organized as always by our dear Friend Michelangelo ROMANO, who has been following us step by step for 9 years regarding the organization of our event at the Autodromo, and whom we warmly thank for the great availability and courtesy that has always distinguished him since our first contacts nine years ago.
After the awards ceremony, we headed to San Leone, where we were expected for lunch at our favorite restaurant ‘Il Canale’, where our ‘Friends’ Elio and Angelo Sollano refreshed us with a delicious fish-based menu from their excellent cuisine.
And this Meeting has also come to an end…… and we look forward to seeing you on December 20 and 21, for the last Meeting of the year, the ‘CHRISTMAS LUNCH’….. which will take us to visit the beauties of Zafferana Etnea, in the province of Catania.
